Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. for you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Colossians 3:2-4
Run, run, run after the Beloved of your heart. Run, skip, rest, breath Him in...leap for joy, dance the dance of praise, clap your hands, sing a new song to the Lord and celebrate Jesus! I see an awakening in the spirit of the people of God to rejoice before the Lord, that the season of struggle will soon end and we will no longer be concerned about the things of this life. There is no struggle when Jesus consumes you; the things of this world pales in comparison to Him. Rejoice in this season of Pentecost that we are in; don't wait until the day, rejoice now! Take a deep breath and breathe in the presence of God. His glory is in us and is on us. We are becoming far too consumed with this world that we need to take a mental and spiritual praise break and remember what this entire thing we call life is all about.
You have wrestled with issues that were sent from the pits of Hades to destroy you and although the season was long and hard, it is almost over. There comes a time when a person must reconcile with their feelings of fear and insecurity (who knows me or who I need to know) and face the fact that our minds have been consumed with the attacks of the enemy far too long with the things of this life. The things that tantalize the flesh, the coveting with the eyes and the worries of this life have been sent by the enemy to distract you from your destiny. But the King of Glory is sending forth His angels to strengthen you.
The beginning of a race appears to be difficult, but there comes a time that the runner knows in his knower that the race is his to be won. You look behind and see that your opponent is light years behind you, and you think of all the worry you did at the beginning of the race that you would be overtaken by him, but a second wind kicks in and strength comes to you and you know, this is it. I got this thing now; I'm focused on winning. Something kicked in and you knew, even without fully seeing the finish line that the race is yours. You don't stop running, but now you run with the resolve of victory. So goes the race of the spirit.
We have run this race feeling the pain of defeat over and over again, but the time is on us where we know without a shadow of a doubt that this race is won. On the sidelines are the angels of God, waving and cheering us on. One angel in front and one angel in back and two on each side to boost us on. We thought we were running alone until now. We ran by little faith, not knowing if we would finish, but now we run with ease, knowing that we can't fail. We can't see the finish line, but we know that there are angels waiting at the end of the line, smiling for the angels know that our change will soon take place. We are at the end of this age, this race, we have soiled our garments, gotten dirt on our faces and tears in our eyes, but we can still see, for we know that Jesus is smiling and is just as excited about this final lap as we are. Just a little more and we will see what the reward of the saved is really about.
Just as in a natural race, there are signs posted along the way to let the runner know how close he is to the finish line; so has Jesus given us signs. There are signs in the heavens, blood moons, falling meteors streaking across the skies and solar flares. There are signs on earth; tornadoes, hurricanes, straight line winds, weird clouds, volcanos, dying animals and birds and there are signs under the earth; earthquakes, sink holes, tsunamis and dying sea animals
Many in the Middle East, East and Far East have already changed their garments for garments of glory. Many are being persecuted, imprisoned, beaten, raped and martyred. One beautiful woman of God asked the Church to pray that those who love the Lord will not have any fear when it is their time to die. They have run the race for the prize that await them. They are waiting on us and cheering us on to finish our course.
No one knows the day or the hour, but we can be certain time is short. As we see the shakings on the earth, don't be dismayed, nor afraid. You are to walk in peace, knowing that you have something great awaiting on you that nothing in this life can compare to. Work while it is still day, bless and love people. Feed the hungry and clothe the poor. Heal the sick and deliver those who are bound. Hug the broken hearted and those who suffer from despair and know that in doing so, your glory which is from God will be seen. You have been given dominion and power by the Holy Spirit to rebuke the powers of darkness. So many are groping in spiritual darkness and they will look to you for the answer to the issues of life. Be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within you. Remember that you are an ambassador of Christ and your Kingdom is not of this world. Arise Church, this race is almost over and then real life begins. Hallelujah
