Worship

Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth: therefore the virgins love you. Draw me away! Song of Solomon 1:3-4a

In a world that is always busy and filled with challenges, those of us who belong to the Lord must come to a place where we quiet ourselves and begin to focus on the One we love. Take the time to sit in His presence and come to really know the Lord. In God’s presence we are changed into His express image. We are called to study and pray, but there is also a place where God want us to abide in His presence and receive from Him the very goodness that is on Him. Praise God for His love for us as He pours Himself into us when we worship Him.

My heart beats with anticipation as I wait patiently for the response of My Lord. My soul leaps with unspeakable joy, as I enter into the secret place with Him where I am caught up and drawn away by My Beloved. The fragrance of Heaven fills the atmosphere around me as I breath in slowly and deeply the very essence of My God. Sweet Spirit of the living God, fill my being and my lungs with each breath of You. Take over me as I become enveloped in You. More of You, my precious Lord. My entire being responds to Your presence and I am wasted in Your love. You are the one I desire and love to be with. Your presence fills my nostrils with fragrant smells of Heaven as you envelope my very essence. Draw me away unto Yourself. Let me stay in your secret place where I am no longer aware of this present world, for I am caught up and enraptured of Your love. Breath into Me, Adonai, the very essence of Your presence, for you alone are my love and my desire is for you. Your sweet presence wraps and satisfies me like a prayer shawl wrapped around me in worship and I find myself in Your very shadow, wrapped in Your love. Father, your presence is sweeter than anything I have ever known and nothing compares to You.
