God Meant it for my Good

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but  God meant it for good in order to bring it about as it is this day to save many people alive.
Genesis 50:20

Have you ever run into someone who had previously tried to destroy your life or slander your name?  They usually look like a deer caught in head lights when they see that all is very well with you.  The comedienne Sheryl Underwood told her story on t.v. that she was to go on the road with some other female comediennes when she overheard them say terrible things about her.  She told of how hurt she was but decided to say nothing, nor did she reveal to any of them that she heard their conversation, but she decided to use the information to correct herself and become better.  She turned down the job, but was later hired by a television talk show and now she's laughing all the way to the bank and her haters can tune her in and watch her success daily.

We just dont know the benefits of remaining silent when the haters slither out from under their dens and unfairly blast slanderous words against us.  Let the haters hate and watch God step in and rectify the situation.  He will be an enemy to your enemies and will fight your battle for you if you give the problem to Him.  Honey, He knows how to fix the problem, but you need to be patient and wait on Him.  Don't cancel God's divine intervention by taking matters into your own hands; let Him handle it.

We are admonished to pray for our enemies and to do good to them.  They might think you are a punk for deciding not to beat the brakes out of them, but let them think what they want, because what they don't know or understand is that they are falling into the hands of God.  Nothing good comes to a person who comes against God's anointed ones.  They will really need your prayers of mercy and many times they may even submit to the God  who is crushing them, if you take your hands off.  Stop crying and start praying for those who despitefully use you; trust me, they are going to need your prayers. 

We are in perilous times when the hearts of many are selfish, dark and evil.  We have never seen times like these before, but as long as the people of light are on the earth there will be light in dark times.  You are a spiritual light house; a beacon of light  shining in a dark place.   You're salt, baby, you put flavor on the earth and this is why the enemy of our soul hate us so much.

Stop crying over your haters and rejoice that God sees you and have already made it known to you that He will deal with your abusers.  Your haters are actually helping to propel you into the very place that God want you to shine in.  Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery because of their envy and jealousy and was placed in the home of a high official.  It looked good for Joseph for a hot minute until the  official's jezebel wife approached him to have her way with him.  Things quickly changed and now  It looked bad for Joseph, because of the trumped up charges  of attempted rape and he found himself being accused of a crime that he did not commit and ended up in the King's prison, but it was in prison where his prophetic gift of discerning dreams was discovered and his meal  ticket out of prison.  It was in this dark place  that Joseph discovered who he was. 

So it has been with some of us, who found our identity after being thrown out of places, rejected, abandoned and mistreated.   In the hidden places and in wilderness situations, we found out who we really are, how strong we are and who lead us into the wilderness.  It was the Holy Spirit so that you could find our purpose.  It's in the hidden places while we are licking our wounds that God reveals Himself to us.   It's in these times that we discover our strength in God and our faith is increased as we submit to our loving God.  We discover alone what we couldn't figure out  in deadbeat relationships.  We learn that we are in Christ and belong to Him and  that all things are possible in and through Him.  We finally get it that we were created and called for purpose and a destiny.  We learn that we have been called to be blessed and to be a  blessing to those who can't seem to find their way.  What was meant to destroy us actually strengthened us for greatness.  Send your haters a thank you card for pushing you into your purpose and give God praise.
