He who overcomes shall inherit all things and I will be his God and He shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Rev 21:8
God charged those He commissioned to be strong and of "good courage." He instructed men in Genesis and throughout the Bible to set their face like flint on Him and against the stares and ridicule of those He was sending them to correct, rebuke or defeat. God was looking for a few good men; ordinary men and women to do extraordinary feats as they trusted in Him.
How is it that those who call themselves Christian agree with the opinions of the world? It not a matter of a human judging you; what do God have to say on a matter? The problem is most who profess to be a Christian have no idea what God's principles are, nor what the Bible says on any sin, because they NEVER read the Bible for themselves.
The men and women who Believed stood in the face of terror, imprisonment, beatings and crucifixions; there was no place for the cowardly to hide.. The people of God knew their God and knew that the only other option was death for them. Their motto was stand and fight, not run and hide The kingdom of God was no place for sissies and is no place for sissies, the cowardly or the fearful today.
Many are assimilating to the crazed thinking of those who don't know God, because of the fear of reprisal from the opinions of others. Stand your ground and don't agree with the things that God is against just because you are afraid of the criticisms of others.
Jesus said, "fear not, for I am with you" so what in the world are we afraid of and why do we fear? We fear because we don't know God. Be strong men and women of God, do what God has called you to do and live abundantly. There is no fear in love, for perfect love cast out fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind.
Stand strong sisters and brothers,
God is with us.
