Anointed to Walk by Faith

On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side,”…and a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” ‘Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”

If the Body of Christ could go through a powerful transformation, it would be faith and love. Faith has been replaced by hope and instead of loving, we simply tolerate one another. The enemy is doing a major smack down on the people of God because we have forgotten what it is to live by faith. Maybe the problem is that most have never operated in faith. I have even heard some say that they believe only what they see. That’s not even hope; it’s sight walking. The Word says we walk by faith and not by sight. What book are these folks reading?

Faith is the connector between man and God. I can believe and trust, but it is faith; that thing that I don’t see, but is convinced down to my very DNA, that God is going to manifest in my life. No matter what happens, I know by faith, that God is going to bring whatever I am believing Him for into fruition. Faith delivers the manifestation of God’s goodness into my life. God moves in the lives of those who are obedient to His will and are worshippers. When we seek the Lord’s will in our lives, we are not concerned with things that are against His principles. We become transformed into the image of who He is and our hearts seek the things of the Kingdom of God. We are not moved by the things of this world, but of the things of Heaven. God is calling us to a higher plane of thinking, to manifest His nature in this dark world. Where others live in fear; we live by faith. Where the people are interested in saving self, the remnant is interested in the things of God.

We can no longer afford to run after carnal interests. We can’t afford to become caught up in worldly conversations that lead to strife and division. Whatever your relationship is with others, if it is at all possible with you, live in peace and love. Establish your feet in the root of God’s Word, to love Him with all your heart and to love others as you love yourself. The enemy is coming after you but when Satan comes to sink his teeth into you, and trust me he will try, he won’t be able to because there will be nothing of the sin nature evident in your life.

Some of our sisters and brothers who live in areas where the occult or witchcraft is being practiced and the demonic principalities seem to have a grip and hold in those territories, remember that greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. No devil, no principality, nor witch or warlock, has anything on you. You have been filled with the Holy Spirit and have dominion and authority over every spiritual serpent. Jesus said, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” Luke 10: 19. So, why do we sweat the small stuff? Why do little things like someone’s bad attitude send us over the edge or prevent us from walking in purpose. How can the enemy commission a “sent one” from the depths of darkness to knock you off course? The answer is that either, you don’t realize the power you possess or you have not faced your sin issues.

Jesus told His disciples to get into the boat and cross over to the other side and He got in the boat with them. Because the situation around them grew treacherous, they forgot that the one who created and controls the elements was on the boat with them. Their focus wasn’t on the promise, that Jesus told them, that they were going to the other side the shores of the sea, because their focus was on their circumstances at hand, which was the storm. They even had the nerves to ask Him if he even cared if they perished. Wow, that’s fear talking…but we do the same things today. God can speak a word to us about our future or an assignment we will be given, and immediately trouble arises. We forget the Word that was spoken because we look at the issues at hand. We begin to walk in fear and take our eyes off the promise that Jesus said that He would never leave us nor forsake us. Peter did the same thing on the water when He asked Jesus to give him permission to walk on water. Permission was granted by Jesus and Peter began to operate in the supernatural. He defied gravity and nature. We can say whatever we want to say but it took much courage and faith to get out of the boat. I commend Peter. Here’s the clicker…what has God revealed to you to do and you are still standing in fear instead of moving forward? Why has your circumstances paralyzed you from obtaining your purpose and mark on the earth? Jesus voice should ring in your spirit that by faith, you can do anything your mind can conceive. Whatever, God places in your spirit, you can perform it for the glory of God.

Remember this; everyone will not support your ideas or your call. Many will question whether you have heard from God, because what you are called to do will not make sense to your family, friends or church members. They may tell you how dangerous your mission is or how you may not need to do certain things, because they are worried about you. They may question the money you are spending, stating that it could be spent on something better or cheaper, but if you are hearing from God, then flow with the Holy Spirit. The question for you may be this; do you know God’s voice? If you do, then proceed with His command to you, with the full assurance that He is with you. It may face some violent storms or some serious challenges, but, God will see you through it, because His is with you. God is fulfilling promises to our purpose and destinies in this season. We are in that, “now” season many prophets have spoken of for years.

This season is not for everyone but for the remnant of Christ. Go after God and the things of God like never before. Seek Him with all your heart and listen for His voice to direct you to purpose. Every dream and vision He has given you concerning your calling is in this season. Those things you have been believing Him for is “now”; He is birthing us into the revelatory realm of His glory. His glory will fill the earth through YOU!!!!! You are the carrier of His glory! You are the one who will profess and decree the Word and purposes of the Kingdom in this hour. You will display His power, signs and wonders in this time. You will demonstrate that time has nothing over the Church for God is outside of time and has commissioned His remnant to perform His miracles, signs and wonders to a world that is filled with doubt.

You will confound the world by operating in the fruit and the gift of faith, but not for your glorification, but for the glory of God. Believe the Word of God and prosper. You are in the “now” season of faith walking and demonstration. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen. You are called to bring the unseen, on seen and remember, you will only receive that which you have faith to believe, for Jesus said, “according to your faith, so be it unto you.” Check your faith walk.
