A Deluge of God's Goodness

Then Darius ordered Daniel’s enemies who had accused him of disloyalty to be thrown into the den of lions, including their wives and children. Before they touched the bottom of the den, the lions pounced on them and broke all their bones. Daniel 6:24

Many times we have heard it said that, "your storm will be over" and it would be; only to get another one. These storms were necessary for your spiritual growth, but the storm you are experiencing right now is not a spiritual test, although you will always glean from storms. This storm is one that has been ordered by the enemy to discourage and destroy you. The enemy has influenced people to come against you from all sides, because of your loyalty to God.

You have served God faithfully, but those who have set a snare for you will find that every stumbling block they have set for you, will trip them and great will be their fall. For they know that you are a lover of God and they despise you because of it. They have smiled in your face but had their javelin ready to stick in your back. You have known some of your enemies, but not all of them, for some have been members of your own family; whether natural or the church and some are from your job. But the haters are those who know your ways and you are a problem for them because of jealousy. Your words of faith have sickened them, so they have set snares to make you fall. Many of the snares have been words of discouragement, anger, accusations and criticism. These words have been “sent” from the enemy and were whispered into the ears of those who envy you, to make you feel incompetent in everything you do. The ill words spoken to you were to cause you to doubt yourself and to make you wonder, if you are really hearing from God or if God really have a purpose for you, so that you will give up. So, God have sent His prophets to speak a word to you as well, but you have rejected the word of one “sent” from God to make you better, because you have become tired of ill words that have been spoken to you from those who want to see you fail. They have caused you to walk suspicious of everyone who speaks a word to you to help you, but you have not always received the words of correction from those who really love you, because of the criticism you have received from those who don’t. God is getting ready to reveal to your spirit those who are truly for you and those who are not.

Your desire to live a holy lifestyle, have been torment to some and you have made them uncomfortable long enough and what they have planned for you, with the help of demons, will be the very thing that choke them. You have loved others with the love of God, but they have hated you because of your goodness. They know you are favored by God, and your very presence is spiritually difficult for them. You have blessed family, friends, church members and strangers, with very little reward, but the Lord is now getting ready to flip the script on those who have loved Him. What you have made happen for others, God will make happen for you. There have been those who have attached themselves to you, because you were someone they thought they were using to gain things and favor, but these same people will find that their shame will be exposed. The years you have travailed for others, blessed others, financed the kingdom, gone the second mile, took the ridicule because of your faith in Jesus and worked tirelessly behind the scene, will be brought to the forefront. Last season was your positioning season and you have to know that God is getting to do something “great” in your life, by the weight of the problems you are experiencing now. Satan knows what time it is for the saints. He knows that you don’t and so he has dispersed his demons to discourage you to take your eyes off the prize, for you have become tired. We are tired of being tired. But there is not a thing Satan can do to stop the work of a Holy God. The word of the Lord to you is, “persevere.” Press through this hour of hardship for the glory of God is getting ready to burst forth in your life. His goodness is getting ready to overtake you. His favor is about to chase you down. Persevere saints, for this hour will not last long. The fragrance of myrrh and frankincense is filling my room at this very moment by the Spirit of the Lord. The Lord is calling you to persevere through this last storm and great is the storm. This is your hardest press but afterwards, the precious oil from this hard press, will ooze from your life the sweetness of fragrant oil. Your worship has a fragrance to God and it pleases His nostrils. Just as the sacrifice of bulls and goats were a sweet fragrance to Him when sacrificed in the Temple; your Temple of the sweet sacrifice of worship has a fragrance that will move a Mighty God on your behalf. Your worship is getting ready to propel you into heights of His incredible glory. You have no idea of the glory that will cover you. The weight of every problem the enemy has hit you with all of your life, is getting ready to culminate into the greatest move of His glory on you. You are getting ready to experience the greatest peace, compassion, mercy and love that God has reserved for His people. You will witness spiritual fruit in full bloom, operating in your life. Your worship of God is getting ready to ascend to heights of glory, where you have never been before. The striving will be over, for you will know that God has smeared you with His goodness and His greatness.

This blessing is only for those who have sought the Lord and He is rewarding you in this life as he prepares a table for you in the presence of your enemies. The snare they have set for you will be the very trap God will cause them to fall into. Never bow your knee to a false idol, not consult with those who do. Never compromise with sin. There are not many roads that leads to Christ, only one way; the way is narrow and few shall find it. Don’t strive for money, recognition or power, only for the presence of God. Never use anyone for your selfish gain. Keep yourself unspotted from the world. Persevere through this last hard place; it is getting ready to be over. Peace like a river, a deluge of His peace will burst forth in your spirit this season. Imagine a dam breaking and the waters rushing fast over a town, so shall God’s goodness rush over you. Imagine each step you take being directed by the Lord for in this season, He will be ordering your every step. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give your peace. May the Lord bless you exceedingly.
