Every year I begin the year in consecration giving God first things first. I believe if I give the first month of the year to Him that He blesses the remaining eleven months. I have seen His awesome hand on my life year after year. God’s desire is to have a holy people who thirst after Him and take joy in His commandment to love one another. God promises to open the vaults of heaven if we obey His Word. So, for those who are lovers of God as I am, I decree the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 on your life.
All these blessings will come down on you and spread out beyond you because you have responded to the Voice of God, your God. God’s blessings inside the city, God’s blessings in the country; God’s blessings on your children, the crops of your land, the young of your livestock, the calves of your herds, the lambs of your flocks. God’s blessing on your basket and bread bowl; God’s blessing in your coming in, God’s blessing in you going out. God will defeat your enemies who attack you. They’ll come at you on one road and run away on seven roads. God will order a blessing on your barns and workplaces; he’ll bless you in the land that God, your God, is giving you. God will form you as a people holy to him, just as he promised you, if you keep the commandments of God, your God, and live the way he has shown you…God will throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land on schedule and bless the work you take in hand…God will make you the head and not the tail; you’ll always be the top dog, never the bottom dog, as you obediently listen to and diligently keep the commands of God, your God, that I am commanding you today.
Deut 28:1-12 Message Bible
Can you say blessings, on top of blessings, on top of blessings, on top of blessings? This is all the Lord is saying to the children of Israel in the Book of Deuteronomy but He is saying the same to us today in the Book of Ephesians. God is causing us to walk in the blessed realm.
How blessed is God! And what a blessing He is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessings in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.
Ephesians 1:4 Message Bible
…I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:17-18 Message Bible
The Kingdom of God is a kingdom of love and as we allow Jesus to live and manifest Himself in and through us we will experience and manifest the extravagant dimensions of His love. God is calling us to soar to the heights of His glory as we embrace Him and others in agape love. This is abundant living, to live in the glory realm of God’s love. Experience the fullness of His peace (shalom: nothing missing; nothing broken) and the heights of His ecstasy as you soar unrestrained in the spirit of His love.
Jesus expressed that He did not come to destroy the law or the prophets but to magnify them. Jesus came so that we would not simply walk in rules, regulations and rituals but in love. Jesus knew that man needed His Spirit abiding in them to truly love others as themselves. Love is a word we throw around freely without even understanding what it really means. We usually are not willing to sacrifice ourselves and practice the principles of God regarding love because it costs us far more than we want to pay. We say with great ease, “I love you” but what we are really saying is that we will tolerate you as long as you make me happy; this is not love, this is the blueprint of manipulation.
There is a line in one of Shakespeare’s plays which says, “How do I love thee; let me count the ways.” Oh my, if we could only count day after day how much we demonstrate love toward our fellow man. How beautiful it is to be able to see people in such a way that when we think of them we are able to number the ways we love them. All envy and jealousy would cease in every relationship if we could only think about being a blessing to others. We would celebrate their joys and cry at their sorrows. We would truly cause the churches to explode in praise if we demonstrate the love of God toward one another. All we will see in one another is Jesus. The commandment to love is not burdensome. The commandment to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength will propel us into the heights of ecstasy in the spirit realm. Blessings will burst forth in our lives. God will open heavens over us and cause us to sit in heavenly places with Him.
Soar people of God; soar into the heights of God’s glory in this season and know that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above what you can ask or think. Soar!
And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city…I, Jesus have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star. And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
Rev. 22: 12:17 New King James Version
Saints of God, Jesus has extended the invitation to those who can hear Him to “come”. For those who are thirsty, you are invited to come. For those who desire more of Jesus; He calls you this very moment to come. Come to the well that will never run dry. The blessings will continue for those who love and obey the Lord for the rest of our natural lives through eternity…and we will rule with Him forever and ever and ever. Be extraordinarily, extravagantly and exceedingly blessed in and by the Lord Jesus Christ.
There is a passage of Scripture in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 that says: "I was caught up into the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether my body was there or just my spirit, I don't know; only God knows. But I do know that I was caught up into paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be told."
