Season of the false prophet and teacher

An Elder of my Church and I were invited to a Church to do a workshop. After a morning of teaching we decided to take a break before continuing the teaching. A man came into the class and began to teach out of a book which looked like a Bible but the scriptures were twisted from the scriptures in the Word. He began to teach error from this book. I couldn't take it anymore and I began to quote scriptures to discount the error he was teaching. He couldn't answer or stand the truth and I took control of the class and taught from the Word of God. EOD

Although there has always been false prophets and teachers, we are about to move into a season where we will see a great increase of error being taught in the churches. Many people will run after the false as they will the truth. Because the people are not reading their Bibles nor are they taking the time to study, they will sit and listen to anything that sounds "religious." False prophets and teachers who speak the word with a "twist" will find that many will follow them because of the appeal of their messages. People are seeking spiritual experiences and those who can produce signs and wonders don't have to preach the Word because the only word most want to hear is "what's in my future." Some psychics are posing as prophets and those who do not try the spirit by the spirit will follow these people because they are saying what they want to hear.


But our God has a remnant and the 911 for the Church in this hour is pray, study, praise and worship Him who alone is God. It is time for those God has called and anointed as prophets and teachers to take their positions and teach and prophesy the truth of God. When God is glorified then signs and wonders will follow the Word that produces true salvation and transformation in the lives of those who hear the Word of truth.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears they will heap up for themselves teachers and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables.
