Generational Blessings
Isaiah 59:21
In this scripture God is showing His redemptive covenant toward Israel, but I also see it as His redemptive love for mankind. I love this scripture because it displays the love of God toward those who belong to Him and the promise of God to us. We can see God's beautiful hand on our families even today, thousands of years after this promise was made to Isaiah. I can almost hear Him thundering throughout the universe "I Am God and I change not." What a comforting acknowledgement God has made and confirmed to mankind so that we will know that we can always take Him at His word and know that He will come through for us.
I have struggled through life and made the Lord my habitation believing His word in every situation. As a young mother raising children, I didn't need a book from Dr. Spock because I had the Word of God and His promises to "train up my children the way that they should go and when they get old they will not depart from it." Trusting God and struggling with my flesh as a young mother, I wrestled against doing life my way, which causes unnecessary stress and submitted to God's ways and principles. I say it was a struggle because I had to change my profane words to words of praise. I still had issues when my children stressed me out, and trust me, children will really make you go there when you're tired and trying to do things God's way (praise break) thank you Jesus for your forgiveness! It was not easy raising seven children, but it was well worth it and as I look back as a wife, mother, grandmother and servant of God, I can tell you that God, our Redeemer is true and every man a liar. Out of seven children, God has made some of my children ministers of the gospel, speaking and desiring His heart as I do. Was it easy, no way, but it was worth it. So now I watch my children's children as they grow up manifesting godly traits as well as the parents.
I remember some of my children making sure they let me know that they were never going to discipline their children when they become parents and I laughed saying to them, "keep living." From my vantage point, it appeared they used the same book I used to raise raise their children...The Bible. So I listen to my grandchildrens discussions about the things of God and my heart leaps when they talk about Him because they know Him. They are regular teens, but many are not allowed to go the way of the world because their parents stay close to them. Yep, I can see some preachers in the making and definitely see future adults who are passionate for the heart of God. My youngest granddaughter who is six had a conversation with me recently on how she is going to tell people about being good and kind. Before she left my city and returned home, she told me that she wanted to be a minister just like me; that's what I call a generational blessing. Let the goodness and power of God continue from generation to generation. That's what a generational blessing look like.
I wasn't thinking about changing the world when I was young woman, I just wanted to change my life to be a God pleaser. I had no idea that if my life changed, I would be changing the world one person st a time. When my carnal nature began to change to a spiritual nature, my children were watching. Oh it was not easy, but oh my goodness, was it ever worth it. Now as an older woman I can't imagine life any other way. It's worth every denial of the flesh and relinquishing every carnal desire to Christ and Him alone, until one day you realize it's your propensity to live for Christ. Transformation comes, but not without a hefty price. You will lose friends and family members. You may lose your job, important statue (for the important people) and sometimes your reputation (slanderers come out of the closet like roaches). You will be judged, misunderstood, lied on, scorned and mistreated just for trying to live a godly life. It won't just come from outside the Church, but oftentimes from the inside from covert demonic operatives. When you speak the truth of God everyone will think you are talking negative about them when they probably never came to mind; but Holy Spirit may have very well been reading their mail so don't take it personal. My point is, don't worry because people get upset with your transformation, it's not really you they are upset with; it's the image that stares back at them in the mirror. Just remember this, generations are depending on you. God has put His Spirit in you and His Word in your mouth and will continue to do so because of your submission to His word and His promise to you. Be exceedingly bless.

Calling Right Wrong and Wrong Right
There is a way that seems right to a man, but it's end thereof leads to death. These are powerful words to remember. I may think that I'm right; I may want to be right, but my determination to know for sure if I'm right in found in the pages of the Bible.
The ways of the Lord leads to life and the ways of our simple opinions and wisdom that seems right, leads to death. The Apostle John spoke of a time when the people will think they are rich, but they are called poor by Jesus. They call themselves clothed, but they are naked; what would cause a person to believe a lie for the truth? The truth is that they are becoming blind by their own sins and pride. The people will say, "I have much; while having nothing." They believe that material things and money is wealth and that it brings happiness, but many people have gotten on drugs to be able to exist in a sea of things and empty of Christ. These things only dominate our mind and trick us into a false sense of security all the while robbing us from being dependent on God. Many think they have no need for God, for all that they need is in their bank accounts, fast and beautiful cars and friends to help them spend their money. The truth of the situation settles in their hearts when they are alone with themselves and think that if there's nothing greater than self, then they have nothing. A famous singer in this world said that she was not happy, as wealthy and as famous as she is, she feels empty. Many others have said the same thing, but few listen. We must realize that when we are aware of the presence of God and His greatness in our lives, then we don't have to depend on self, for our propensity will be toward Him, who is the lover of our soul.
Many get into a place where they believe their own lie that they are self made and this is the place where they get into trouble. We all answer to somebody, whether it be Satan or God. Satan doesn't come to us in a physical form, but in a subtle way with whispers or suggestions that lead to destruction. We can get caught up in the accolades of man telling us how great or wonderful we are which leads to pride. Never let anyone make you get caught up in self; but rather keep yourself grounded in God. We are nothing without our Lord...nothing. We must realize that as we yield our hearts to God and what He offers us, we will never feel the need to be lifted up by mere man. Jesus blesses us when we allow Him to touch our hearts and cover us with Himself. He desires for us to come to Him and be saturated and satisfied with Him and Him alone.
When we read and hide the Word in our hearts, we won't be confused with what is right and what is wrong. It is clearly stated in the Bible. Our opinion just don't matter; only His word and will matters. He want us to taste and see that He is good and that there is none like Him. Close your ears to those who call evil good and run after the One who is good and Holy. Blessings to you as you read this blog and know that the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous. Again, oh taste and see that the Lord is good.

The Glory I See
Walking along the beach on a recent trip with my children and grandchildren, I marveled at the power of the waves of the sea the morning after a storm. There's always a morning after something if God allow us to wake up the next day and I say this so that some will stop stressing the snall stuff.
I could see the glory of God looking out over the ocean and remembering that it was fashioned by the spoken word of God. He spoke and all things came into manifestation. Wave after wave crashing on shore with sure precision of moving with the rhythm of the sea fascinated me. The waves didnt miss a beat as it operated as God had ordained. I felt very small...a tiny speck like the grain of sand on the beach and I thought, oh Abba, you are so mindful, so attentive of me as small as I am compared to the vast sky above me and the magnificent sea before me.; how great You are.
My personal aspiration in life now is to continue to seek the depths of love and the presence of God. My life has so much purpose as I fall more in love with Yahweh. The sweetness of His presence astounds me and I care less and less for many of the things around me that are of little value.
I see God's glory all around me on a daily basis; I look for Him and I see Him in the beautiful cry of a baby, a rainbow or the smile of an elderly person. A baby is new, a rainbow is God's covenant to us and the smile of the elderly of a life hopefully well lived for God.
Stop worying about material things and negative people who steal your time and start living for Jesus, which is a life well lived. Your stress level will come down and you will have inner joy. You will see and enjoy God's presence in your life and you will be at peace with God and yourself.

The Spirit of Revelation
Ephesians 1:17
The Apostle Paul was such a humble man concerning his love for God's people that he would continue to pray for those who are the set apart ones to be equipped with wisdom and revelation. He knew in his dealings with church people that he could deliver a message that would be filled with wisdom and the people seemed to grab hold of those things he had taught them, only to realize that they would forget and sink back into their place of spiritual darkness. Every pastor and leader who serve people see the same questions or problems over and over as if there has never been any discussion of the issues. A stranger can come and say the same thing and they will act as if it is the first time they have ever heard the statement and in reality, it is because they can't hear you.
Jesus reveals this phenomena when He taught on the parable of the sower in which He gave four types of people who hear the word. He categorized these four types of people in the various cities that he traveled to and he summed them up this way. The wayside hearers, rock hearers, the thorn hearers and the good ground hearers. Luke 8:4-8. We are so excited about the "good ground hearers" for they make our lives so exciting. We are thrilled as we pour our hearts out teaching or giving a word to these people because they have revelation of what you're saying. You can see the excitement in their spirit as the word take root within their heart because they are good ground for the seed to grow in. They are a pleasure as we watch their growth in Christ and the fruit that they bear. Unfortunately, we don't get the opportunity to minister to too many good ground people.
The frustrating people are those who hear the preacher/teacher give the word and right after service or a counseling session ask the same question as if the minister hadn't taken their precious time to teach the information they need. They just didn't get it because Satan quickly came to the wayside and the rock christians to trample and effectively wither the word so that it would be of no effect to them. The word couldn't take root and we have to recognize the types of people we minister to. The most frustrating type of Christian are those who are the thorny christians. They appear to have an understanding of what has and is being taught. They will amen your sermon and appear to be right there with you riding every word, but then you witness something else as time goes on. There is no growth or fruit; they are at a standstill struggling with the same issues they were shouting, high-fiving and affirming as you spoke. There was affirmation, but no revelation. They heard your words and agreed with what you were saying, but didn't get a revelation of the principle, therefore there is no wisdom when a problem arise. It takes time to see whether the thorny christians have an understanding because growth takes time and wheat and thorns look identical when they begin to grow. We see what looks fruitful and promising in the ground, but in due sesson, we then realize it's thornes and not wheat. This is the most frustrating part of pastoring...they can't hear you. No fruit was produced because they allowed the enemy to snatch the word by trials or doubt.
I'm so glad it is God's business and not mine in how they hear. My job is to deliver the word in truth and God's business in how they hear. We are instructed in Ephesians 4:11-13 tells that Jesus gave the five-fold ministers the responsibility to equip the people for works of service and to build up or to edify the Body of Christ until WE ALL come into the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect or mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of God. That means we can't become frustrated and decide we're not teaching or ministering to hard headed people anymore. It's not about us; it's God business. You were anointed, appointed and charged by Jesus Christ to take those He has brought put of darkness and into the light by the hand and walk with them down the difficult road of training so that in due season, hopefully they will receive wisdom and revelation.
I had to realize just because I recieved wisdom and revelation on a truth of God doesn't mean that everyone else recieved it at the same time. I must be patient until others placed in my midst recieves the things of God. That is why the Bible repeats the principles of God over and over in different Books, often times using the sam verbage. God desires that we all "get it " so He anoint some and make them wise and reveals Himself to them so that they can teach others to follow hard after Him to recieve His word in time and power by His Spirit. He wants to speak to them too, so He uses you to teach them how to hear and to be patient in waiting on the Lord.
Apostle Paul tole the people that he gave them milk and not solid food because they couldn't handle the wisdom that he walked in nor could they handle any revelation from God. They were wrangling with arguments and jealousy, just like the modern Church and these worldly issues that prevent them from walking in the love of Christ. Deep calls to deep and if the people are yet immature, they can't recieve the deep things of God. Some will hear and mature to become wise and enjoy revelations from God to equip others and then, there's the other three groups, the wayside, rock and thorny christians who will struggle, going to church, always hearing and learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. God is faithful to the ones who humble themselves and submit to Him to rise to the heights of glory to receive all that God delights Himself to reveal them in times of worship.

What Light Are You Following?
Many Believers are becoming deceived by reports from unsaved people boasting that they have had a supernatural experience that had nothing to do with Jesus Christ or an angelic being. Some are so hungry for the supernatural that they will eat any report they hear without testing the spirit behind the experience. There are thousands of books written about people seeing a light or going toward the light without any experience with God or either turning their lives to Christ after the experience. These people will continue to live their lives apart from The Light who is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the true Light of the world and there is no other, although Satan masquerades himself as an angel of light, but there is no light in him. Satan is able to be deceive the world in his deception of being the light and many follow him. The scriptures states that his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness and their end will be what their actions deserve. For the followers of Christ, don't believe every person who try to sell you a story of a spiritual experience. Mediums, psychics, warlocks, practitioners of witchcraft, shamans and gurus can all produce spiritual experiences. The anti-Christ will do great signs and wonders, so just because there's a spiritual experience does not mean it's from God or His servants; test the spirit and see if it's from God.
We are living in a time of great deception and it will only get worse. If we are not fully armed with the word of God and the Holy Spirit we will be deceived. We can't become mesmerized by tales of supernatural experiences and think they are all from God and yes, we serve a God who operates in the supernatural an so do His servants, but these experiences should draw us closer to God. There should be repentance and an 180 degree turn from our sinful ways. These true experiences will draw us closer to God, to serve Him with our whole being because we know that it was an heavenly encounter with God or an angel. We see heavenly encounters throughout the Bible and the lives of God's people, but let me be perfectly clear, Satan and his minions also perform spiritual experiences. In every Hollywood movie about poltergeists, the lights blink off and on. The people are scared out of their minds, but they do not run to the Church or to righteous men or women; they run to anyone who can help them. Those who truly want deliverance will run to the people of God for deliverance. Many in the church are playing with this "third eye" practice which is from the Eastern religions. We don't need the "third eye" when we are filled with the Holy Spirit because the Greater lives in us. My friends, the people of God should never be involved with these eastern religious practices. The Holy Spirit is our guide, teacher, comforter and He will lead us into all truth. Stop playing with these things that are from the darkside.
A few years ago a minister friend an I were summoned to a woman's house to deliver her home from demonic entities. When my Minister friend and I arrived at house, we found three huge angel statues outside her home. When we went inside the house, we saw scriptures typed on paper and posted on the walls and angels figurines. When the woman called me for help, she told me that the lights were blinking off and on, pictures flying off the wall and noises during the night. She was a petite and soft spoken woman who was scared out of her mind. After ministering to her and delivering her from demons, she took us to her basement which was freezing cold. I could feel the hairs stand up on my neck, but this was no time for fear. We noticed scriptures on the basement wall as well and then we began to deliver the basement and home. She was a sweet woman who attended church regularly, but she told us that no one would help her. After hugs and prayer, we departed the premises.
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft (divination) and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. 1 Samuel 15:23
Rebellion and stubbornness are doorways to unwanted problems in our lives. So many people are opening themselves up to the dark side through street drugs, occult games and practices, a rebellious spirit and stubbornness (pride). Pride goes before the fall and we really don't want to find ourselves in this place. The Lord tells us to humble ourselves under His mighty hand. Humility is spiritual insurance to a life of peace and protection. Humility or submission to God and His word keeps one hedged from the crazy experiences and deceptions of this life. We are hedged from the powers of darkness as long as we stay close to God, stay in His sord and obey His will. There is power in His name and power is part of our benefit package by the Holy Spirit. We should walk in the spirit of God and have nothing to do with the works of darkness. Jesus is the Light and we are carriers of the light that draws people to Him. Any other light may be from a source you really don't want to be involved in.

The Spirit of Death
The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace. Isaiah 59.8
When I was a young mother one of he things I enjoyed was leaving my front door, side door and all my windows open so that my house could catch the wonderful breeze blowing in the late evenings.
We didn't worry about anyone breaking in because my neighbors looked out for one another. My children even slept in the back yard in a tent whenever they wanted without any fear of harm or injury from a stranger.
We even went camping at a campsite with our church as we all slept in tents. My children went camping with rhe church and the only fear I had was whether my kids would break a leg hiking. Neighbors children would come to our yard and play with my kids and our children could walk the neighborhood without fear from mobs of violent kids. Those were the days of innocence.
Our world has changed dramatically like a crazed horse running wildly out of the barn. The world as we have known it is gone and has forever changed and anyone over 55 years old do not recognized this place we find ourselves in. There is no peace in the land as people are cautious going into public places. Everyone is nervous and suspicious of each other as fear grips the heart of man.
We have gradually slid into a place of depravity where young people love to record acts of violence. Where have their innocence gone? Instead of stopping an act of violence, they laugh as they record it. Blood, gore and suffering is entertainment to them. They have become desensitized through violent movies, cartoons and video games. Uncontrolled emotions is another part of this killing cycle we are witnessing. We gave it a name; "road rage."
What have these young people been taught in the homes? What are they witnessimg in the homes? Domestic violence is on the rise from fighting to killing and if this is done in front of the children, what effect will it have on them? Many homes are the first place of violence that children witness. Many people complain about prayer being taken out of the schools, but that's not the problem. The real problem is prayer being taken out of the homes.
I grieve for this generation because the natural love for others is not within them. Paul wrote, "where do wars and strife come from?" It comes from lust and greed! Something else more frightening seems to be raising its head in this equation and that is killing for sport. People walking down the street are being shot for no apparent reason except for sport.
Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites for you travel on land and sea to make one proselyte and when he is made you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Matthew 23:15
Good job, Baby Boomers! Your lust for money, power, sex and material wealth has created an entire generation of self loving monsters. But God has a Remnant who have not bowed their knees to this material world and is seeking the heart of the Father in these last days to demonstrate Christ's love, principles and power. These are young people who are focused, bold and courageous; willing and ready to advance the kingdom of God at any cost. You will begin to witness this rising of glorious young people who are strong and vigilant concerning the will of God.
The spirit of murder has gone out over the nations, but the Spirit of God is calling the sons of God to arise and take your position to do mighty exploits on the earth. The fervent, effectual prayers of the righteous avails much and God dispatches His angels to go before you. I have witnessed a few young people who are wise beyond their years and can hang in there with the best adult. The Spirit of the Lord says, "ARISE."

Behind the Veil
Many have written songs of being behind the veil and there's great curiosity of what it means to be there, but the truth is, we are not the same when we have truly been there. What does it really mean to be behind the veil, it's more than a sweet song. What does it cost to be granted entrance behind it and are we really willing to pay the price?
Those who are called holy by God have paid a price in sanctification. They have separated themselves from the thrills and deals of this world to be able to enjoy the presence of God. Anyone can look holy, but everybody can't walk holy. The Bible speaks of holiness unto the Lord and vessels of honor. Those who have developed a relationship with a Holy God to come out of the world. It's a beautiful walk with God, forsaking those things that others participate in and enjoy, but holy vessels have absolutely no interest in the works of the flesh.
Being separate from the world is not a difficult task if your heart and focus are on holy things. Media depicting murder, sex, stealing and the works of the flesh just don't tantalize the eyes of the righteous. Cursing, lying, gossip and slander don't interest the ears of those who desire holiness. Drugs, smoking, gluttony or drunkenness don't appeal to the flesh because they are satisfied by the enveloping presence of God.
While the world look upon the lives of those who have chosen to live righteous as boring, the righteous see all the heartache, hopelessness and darkness in the lives of those who have chosen to live empty, selfish lives either without God or with minimal connection with Him. The righteous see the pain behind the partying of those who live for the moment and certainly are aware of their end and what lies ahead for eternity regarding them.
The Word of God says, "blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. Filled with what, we may ask? Filled with more of God...His glory, love, righteousness, goodness, peace, patience and the other fruit or virtues of God. Wisdom comes from God and the world can certainly use more wisdom. Not worldly wisdom that is limited to what our minds can fathom, but godly wisdom that is birthed from above and from the heart of God.
It cost to go behind the veil for real and when you come out you don't return to your own vomit again. You are finish with low living and useless exploits. You have experienced the glory of God and everything that is not like Him you will gladly reject. I don't understand why people fear the word holiness, except for conjured up images of what we have seen often in the churches which is the outer appearance of people trying to look holy in their dress and demeanor. True holiness is a vessel filled with the joy of the Lord and obedience to His word and will. It's walking love, pure concern for the welfare of others and being filled with faith. It's being massively in love with God.
The men chosen to go into the Holy of Holies in the Old Testament prepared themselves through the process of purification because they knew that going behind the veil any old way would result in their imminent death. Others couldn't tell if their hearts were right so a rope was tied around their leg to pull them out if they were just pretending to be holy because they were definitely going to drop dead. How many pastors and leaders would drop dead today if God didn't give grace? There would be mass howling of grief up to the heavens on Sundays if it were not for the grace of God.
Here's the point I'm making; some have emotional experiences and think they have had mountaintop experiences, but they are not changed and there are others who live sanctified lives and experience the weight of the presence of God and are changed individuals. What a shame to look holy and have an empty experience and no change. Seek God; He promises to be found and show you great and mighty things you did not know. Jesus is waiting for you.
