Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. Psalms 100:4
How I love this scripture for it points to the awesome promise that when we enter into heavenly gates with the Lord we enter into a position of thankfulness. So many times we come to services expecting the praise team, music or the minister to get us into the mood to worship but the Word tell us to "enter" into His gates in an attitude of thankfulness. In other words, we are to "bring it" when we come into the Church. We are not to wait to be pumped up for we should be pumped up when we come in because we are thankful for what the Lord has done for us. We are thankful for every gift, for every miracle and every answered prayer. I walk in a attitude of thanksgiving.
We are not just told to enter into His gates with thanksgiving but when we are thankful and grateful, we go past the gates and into His courts in an attitude of praise. In the inner courts of praise, we move behind the veil into worship. This is where we become saturated in His love in the position of intimacy.
Be blessed.
