Are Your Thoughts Being Controlled?

As I drove home in the heat yesterday, I was struck by the beauty of the clouds towering hundreds of feet tall in the sky over my car, I could only say in my heart, "outstanding, Father."

I could barely drive for looking up at the fabulous beauty God had placed over me in the sky. It provoked praise for the beauty that He had afforded me for that moment. No matter what was going on in the world, the magnificence of God was being display across the sky, like a beautiful painting placed on canvas displayed across the sky. My heart could hardly contain how grateful I was to be able to see and enjoy such an awesome display of God's beautiful handiwork spread out before me in the most extravagant colors of blue and white. It was just God and me, as praise flowed from my heart and lips of His awesome goodness. The outgoing of my mornings and evenings are filled with the display of His creation or a simple whisper of His presence. Before my head hit my pillow, I am assaulted with memories of His presence and glory for that day. I simply find Him everywhere!

God manifests Himself to us in so many ways and on so many levels. He quiets our souls so that we can enjoy His voice as He speaks sweet things into our spirit and He embraces our entire being with His manifested presence. How can we ignore the beckoning of our God to wait on Him.

We are living in tumultuous times and dangerous days. We are being attacked by the enemy on every end and we are being manipulated by the media to conform to the thinking of the world, but God is calling us to separate ourselves and seek what He has for us.

We are people of a different kingdom from those around us. Our thoughts are not gathered from this realm nor are our instructions. We can't allow the enemy to distract us into taking sides of issues that are of this world or this realm. We are kings and priests, whether we look like royalty or not; we are. Kings and Priests don't become entangled in the affairs of the common people. Even if we are involved, we have the tools that the world don't have and that is the supernatural ability to foster change. We have been given authority over every creeping thing and over forces in the natural realm. Speak to the mountain and it will be removed!

Remain in the barnyard with the chickens, pecking on issues that the media create to keep their ratings up, if you wish, but you are being played. The powers that be are using mind control over you, which is witchcraft, to draw you into every trial, evil or issue that will draw you back to the television or radio, to saturate your thoughts on issues they want you to have opinions about to distract you from your commission of Jesus Christ. The question the media asks often is, "what do you think about this or that person's comment or action?" Did not Jesus say, "let the dead bury the dead?" It doesn't matter what you think; what does Jesus say? We are being manipulated by public opinion to think a certain way, when we should be concerned about what is Jesus saying in this season.

We are currently witnessing evil played out in front of us from the media, trying to manipulate racial division, strife and unrest, all the while calling for peaceful demonstration. They play each side against the other and get "professional" people to sit on their shows and panels to give advice to spiritually unconscious people to continue the strife (they call it discussions). This is for you to make a decision what side you will take. I get tickled every time a news person says, everybody is following this story...well yeah, because you have played it to death. There's nothing else to look at on the News. I don't care to watch a boring court case, we have no control over the outcome of the case, so what's the point? Then the question is asked again, "what do you think" in their makeshift poll, all the time being a distraction to those who should be asking, "what is God saying in this season?" There has been and always will be injustices; Jesus told us these things will happen, but He never told us to become consumed with them.

The principalities in high places and evil spirits are having a field day on the people of God and the people of the earth. Satan is controlling the thoughts and emotions of the people on the earth. There are breakouts of war, rumors of war and dissension around the entire globe right now. You, man and woman of God are called to go higher and seek the Lord and those things that are near His heart.

The heavens are telling of God and His glory! In the midst of rising tempers and temperature, look higher! Look for God's glory which is all around you. Familiarize yourself with His presence so that you can recognize when you are being played by the media, which is being controlled by the prince (Satan)of the power of the air. Remember, Jesus Christ is Lord and King! . Let the beginning of your days praise Him and the end of your evenings praise Him, for He is worthy to be praised!
