The Revelations of God pt 2

...the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward you who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.
Ephesians 1:18-19

Paul wanted the spiritual eyes of the Ephesians (and this word is for us today) to be enlightened or that they not function in ignorance or misinformation concerning the things of God and who God really is. When God reveals Himself to us as we mature in Him, we will express this revelation through worship, praise, dancing, psalming, writing, teaching, preaching, evangelizing and loving others. We will forgive, bring hope to the hopeless, life to the destitute, heal the sick and comfort those who suffer. We will proclaim Jesus to the lost and love the unlovable. We will be unstoppable in Christ.

Here's the part I love about these scriptures and it is "what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward you who believe, according to the working of His mighty power." Eph 1: 19. God has rich glories in mind for His people and we can see His power changing our lives and the lives of others. We know that we serve an incomparable God for no one or nothing else can change a vile human being into a loving and kind person. We see the transformation of our lives moving from being timid to spiritually powerful. We know that God has changed us from being self conscious to God conscious. When we serve and love the true God we know that it is not about us. We come to know His awesome power at work in our lives and we are changed by that power. We are possessors of God's nature and power as we understand who He is; we can come to understand who we are in Him.

God's great power is incomparable. It is unequaled in strength and unparalled in quality. When we try to compare God, His power, His nature or His character with anything else, it is impossible for there is no basis to compare to Him. There is nothing created or exist to compare with our God, for He stands alone. When we think of God on these terms, nothing should ever make us afraid or worried for we serve an incomparable God and nothing can stand with Him or against Him; He is God all by Himself.

God deeply desire to reveal Himself to us in ways we can't even imagine. We have a rich spiritual inheritance because of who we are in Christ Jesus. Human knowledge is exploding at an unprecedented rate, as man continue to invent faster and greater things to make our lives more comfortable. We are buying electronics that we never thought we had a use for, but these inventions were placed into the minds of mortal beings and into our hands and we now don't know how we ever lived without them. Spiritual knowledge, wisdom and revelation are exploding in the hearts of the righteous as well, at breaking speed. We are seeing an explosion of spiritual knowledge as God reveals and impart more of Himself into us and open our minds to receive hidden things in His Word; there's nothing new in God's word, just a uncovering and revealing of what was already there. The closed book of Daniel has been opened, praise God.
