Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you.
Psalm 37:5
There are times that we are faced with decisions and situations in life and find it difficult to know which way to turn. Sometimes we are faced with unemployment or in some cases employment decisions to leave our current job and go after the one that looks very promising but is not a sure thing. We are sometimes faced with medical decisions; should we take the surgery or not. Sometimes we are faced with family problems; should we stay or leave, or decisions to relocate to another city or stay where it is familiar; should we marry or stay single; the list goes on and on but one thing is for sure is that in every situation we need to seek the heart of God for our lives.
Trials, tribulations, problems and challenges are facts of life but God said that He would not give us more than we can bare. Our rest in any problem will come from the fact that we learn to trust God and commit our entire lives to Him. It is the Lord’s desire that we rely and trust Him in every area of our lives. Commit means to give or hand something over. God want us to let Him be our burden bearer. He is the only one who can help us out of every situation and place our feet on solid ground. Praise God that He is our Deliverer; our Peace; our Comforter; our Judge; our Provider; our Protector; our Healer; and the One who wars on our behalf.
God’s Word says He will help us if we trust Him; what a wonderful promise the Lord has given us. If you can't remember anything else, remember this, “is there anything too hard for God?” Commit your burdens to the Lord for He promises to help in time of need. Be free from worry; run after the Lord and trust Him with your entire being. He is El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough and He has given His angels charge over us and commands them to surround and help us. We are never alone and our God is ready to deliver us in His awesome timing. Trust Him! My heart’s song for this day is, “my help comes from the Lord.”
