Kirk Franklin had a song called, "Melodies from Heaven" a few years ago that was simply beautiful. Part of the lyrics were, "melodies from Heaven, rain down on me." How often I have been awakened with a sweet melody in my spirit singing a love song to the Lord. I can feel these songs radiating deep within me and as I become aware of the melody or lyrics being sung, I find myself being overwhelmed with the most passionate love for God. In my heart I know that life doesn't get any better than this. For the peace of God overshadows me and I know that I have been one with Him. In the depths of my sleep I know that my spirit was in communion with the most High God.
It has become apparent to me that these melodies are coming straight from Heaven into my very being. The Spirit of the Lord sings deep within me the songs that resonate out of me. I awaken and sometimes can't remember the words to some of the songs because they were obtained when I was in worship in the spirit. Jesus told the woman at the well that the Father was seeking worshippers. Not those who occasionally worship on Sundays but those who worship as lifestyle. Worshippers are those who worship. Those who live in the realm of worship touches the very heart of God and we are transformed into His image. Glory to God.
