Arise to the Light of His Glory

Arise saints, for we are in the Days of Awe! The period of time from Passover to Pentecost are exciting times for the body of Christ, for we are in a time of self-examination. I personally believe that this year in particular the Church will walk in the manisfestion the glory of God. His light will be seen on us as we spend time in His presence in our prayer closets. But there is a deeper call on the Church in this season and that is the clarion call to corporate prayer. Many groups of Believers globally have gather together on phone lines and services to pray and intercede for the Church and the nations. As we see darkness deepening in the land, the people of God are manifesting the glory of the Lord. Jesus expresses this glory in His prayer to the Father for those who will believe in Him through the Words of His apostles. Jesus speaks of the Church becoming one as He and the Father are "one" and in this place of oneness, God's glory will be seen on us so that the world will know that He was "sent" from the Father.

That they all may be one; as you Father, are in me, and I in you; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you have sent me. And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one; even as we are one; I in them and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as you have loved me.
John 17:21-22 NKJV

Jesus prayed; so we must pray! Prayer changes things and the saying that the "family that prays together; stays together" is so powerful and true. This can be said for family as well as ministries. We must pray during these times so that we can stay together. Nothing can effect our love walk if we are in a place of intercession for the Body of Christ. No spiritual cancer can come against Christ's body and destroy the Church of the Living God. So, let's stay together by praying for one another, with one another and personal intimate prayer, to root out everything in our hearts that will separate us from one another through the seed of offense, which also give birth to envy, jealousy, hatred and bitterness. Examine yourselves and see if this seed has permeated your heart and root it out through reading the Word of God, prayer and the powerful act of forgiveness. In this season of "awe", let's walk in love through the leading of the Holy Spirit as the sweet fragrance of the "fruit of the Spirit" is manifested in our lives.

I pray this Holy season will cause you to rise above every situation that tries to distract you from the wonderful promises God has made to us through His word and that we understand that we were called to walk in covenant with our God. Arise to the light of His glory and magnify the Lord.

May you be exceedingly blessed,
Apostle Cynthia Brooks
