The Signs Are Evident of His Coming

One year my husband and I, with kids in tow drove from Tennessee to California. I don't believe that we began to see any signs of California until we reached Arizona.  We were no where near the city of destination, but we knew we were close enough, because we saw our first sign.  We drove a little closer and began to see more signs.  Suddenly we began to see signs of the city and how many miles we had left.  Then we saw the most beautiful sign ever, that we had entered the county of our destination and we began to shout; we're here.  It is the same as when we travel in our car. bus or train, we know when we are getting close to our destination by the signs on the road, so it is with the signs in the heavens, on the earth and under the earth.  Signs of Christ coming are all over the place.  The Middle East has exploded,  threats of war from various nations, Europe is in turmoil, floods, droughts, volcanoes, fires, earthquakes in divers places, animals dying, falling meteors, tornadoes, cyclones, extreme  heat, sink holes and awesome cloud formations to name a few are all signs of His return. These are signs of Christ coming.  Missionaries have preached the gospel globally and then the end will come as Jesus said.

As we witness the signs culminate in the heavens, on the earth and under the earth, are we taking inventory of our spiritual walk?  We are living like we will never give an account of our lives.  It's time to take inventory of our lives beloved.  Occupy until He come; playday is over.  The Church on the other side of the world is suffering martyrdom and unimaginable suffering; are you praying for them?

In the Western Church we are so concerned with our comfortable life and possessions.  We are not interested in loving one another and we don't consider  the one thing that unite us: the blood of Jesus. We don't consider Jesus, because we're great in our own eyes.  Pride and fear are the two things that will knock us out of the game.   We walk in perpetual fear that someone will take advantage of us or get one over on us.  Fear causes us to be suspicious of other Believers, so instead of deeply loving one another as Jesus said to do, we are suspicious and distrustful of those we were told to love.

Pride, fear, bitterness and unforgiveness are sins that people think are hidden from others, but they are easily discerned by the righteous. The root of bitterness has crept into our hearts and there is no forgiveness toward one another.  We see the signs of Jesus coming, but our hearts have become so hardened that it almost seems impossible for us to change.  Some believe they can't change, but the truth is that they think humbling themselves will make them appear weak.Others want to change, but they are taking ungodly counsel from the disobedient who encourage them in their disobedience. You are being judged in your love walk or lack thereof.

We can preach sermon after sermon about repentance and forgiveness and yet the ears of the people can't hear.  Why can't we yield to the Holy Spirit and humble ourselves to obey the command of Jesus to love?  The reason we can't is because of P R I D E!  Stinking pride!  The Lord hates a proud look and the hearts of those who look out for their own good and comfort. He rejects the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Many Christians will not touch the man or woman who are physically dirty, broken and in need.  Destitute people make us uncomfortable, because in the Western World we love those who look successful, prosperous, well dressed and good looking.  Never mind how vile their hearts and lives may be.  Christian flock to movies and television dramas that depict successful, greedy, prideful and wealthy people who think nothing of stepping on others to get what they want from people. Why are Christians enticed by demons to watch these types of programs?  They either don't know God or are not satisfied with Him.

Wake up Church!  It's time to take personal inventory to make sure that the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life is not seducing you into a state of pride and comfort.  We were not called to a comfortable life, but a powerful and abundant life in Christ.  We were not called to a life of comfort, but to be a light in darkness.

I'm really glad that no man knows the day or the hour of His coming, because if we did, we would sell T-shirts and cups to make a profit.  You are a witness to the signs posted all over the place of the reality of the word and His existence.  Cry out to God to created in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you.  Humble yourself and  crucify the flesh as you do the work of loving, living and demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit on the earth.  Blessings.
