America, America, Listen Up

Then he (Jesus) said to His disciples, The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.       Matthew 9:37

Nation will rise up against nation and kingdom again kingdom...  Matt 24:7

I want to give a shout out to the clergy in Ferguson, Missouri, who have chosen to put themselves in harm's way and go out on the streets to try to keep the protesters calm during daily demonstrations.  These men and women of God recognize that this is an awesome opportunity to demonstrate the love and power of God. Yes, there are others as well who are taking up bull horns and talking to the people, but I am especially moved by the clergy who are agents of peace going out to calm a raging storm .

We all know how this thing can escalate into a totally tragic situation with our own police using military equipment  and tactics against the people they are suppose to protect.  The real, underlying problem with this entire Mike Brown killing saga is the issue of racism and disrespect against an ethnic group.  Our country was set up to give a person,  "due  process" in the court of law to determine the person's sentence.  A trained police officer knows that he can use his fire arm to drop a person without killing them, But this is not done with African American men, because the men who are authorized to carry a fire arm can suffer from the hidden disease of hatred and racism against the citizens they are suppose to protect.

There has been unfair justice as long as I have been alive and it will continue because it is a matter of the heart.   Hatred or disrespect has always existed in this country against African Americans, resulting in harsh or deadly force without raising an eyebrow.  Law enforcement need to clean up their act and apprehend those suspected of committing a crime or who look suspicious or intimiding, without killing them.

We will see more of this behavior in our nation with riots in the streets  because our nation is crumbling from within.  Our core beliefs have changed and we no longer respect or recognize a Holy God.  There is a higher court of Justice than the Supreme Court and that court is the Court of Heaven.  It is the Court of Heaven that judges rightly and it's agents (the ministers) of Heaven are maneuvering themselves throughout the crowds speaking to individuals, one by one, how to use wisdom and non violent strategies  in peace.  I can only imagine how a single life has been changed by a word from the clergy who spoke wisdom into their spirit.

The clergy are going through the crowds demonstrating the kingdom and dropping seeds of righteousness into the hearts of those who would receive their words.  No, the crowd won't change, but individuals in the crowd will change. Out of chaos and anger, light will come.  Ferguson will be changed and never forget the nights that the men and women of God came together and spoke a word into their hearts.

Believe me, agitators against peace have taken the Megabus, Greyhound, rental cars, a few took planes and carpooled to Ferguson to take part in the demonstration.  Some came to support and some came to fight.  There will always be forces of darkness to try to extinguish light, but my prayer is that reports of goodness will come out of this awful event.  I pray that there will be change on the police force in their hiring practices concerning African Americans and they will receive better training in dealing with the community.  I pray that the residents of Ferguson draw closer together.  I pray that the youth of Ferguson yield to authority and that the clergy of Ferguson, who sacrificed their time and life to ministering the crowds be blessed. The media will always be their because it's all about ratings, but I am glad to see that the clergy was interviewed.

America, listen up, change your ways because the spirit of anarchy has been released into your territory and the way to dispel it is through respect of one another.  Embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ and prosper.
