There is a sound of an abundance of rain. I keep hearing "there is a sound". So the teacher in me did some research to examine the wording.Sound1. The audible result of an utterance or portion of an utterance 2. The distance within which the noise of something may be heard. (Sound can travel 720 to 770 mph) 3. To give the appearance of being Abundance1. An extremely plentiful or over sufficient quantity or supply 2. Overflowing fullness 3. Affluence; wealthRain1. A heavy and continuous descent 2. To send down in great quantities 3. To offer, bestow, or give in great quantity: to rain favors upon a person. 4. A rainfall, rainstorm, or showerLatter: Belonging to the time just before the present moment; most recent:There is an audible utterance of an over sufficient supply, an overflowing fullness of a heavy and continuous descent - a great shower. Something in the distance is being noised. A great sound of God's abundant call to His people. This sound is worldwide. When Elijah completed the work on Mount Carmel, God gave him an ear to hear something that no other man was hearing. It was a sound of abundant overflowing rain in the distance that no man could hear or see. He sent his servant to look seven times before the servant could even see a tiny cloud the size of a man's fist. Remove the scales from the eyes of your anointed to see, Lord.God showed Elijah, in his hearing, a great sound that was inaudible to everyone else. God is now sending a sound to his servants that the world cannot hear. It is loudly resounding in the ears of his remnant saying to some "come up here and go there and do thus". And with this noise, His remnant are casting themselves down in prayer and in Scripture - coming up with the revealed Word of God to point others to see what they themselves hear. And God will manifest his former and latter rain - for the latter belongs to the time just before the present moment. He will do the greater by moving the called to do that which is not normal for them to do. He is pushing His remnant out of their comfort zones. It is no coincidence that you declare a thing and it comes to pass instantly. Did not Elijah shut up the heavens from rain for three years? God sealed the Word that he told Elijah to speak. Will he not stop the dark rain clouds from releasing a drop at the word of his remnant? The scripture says that "The hand of the Lord was on Elijah" - he gained supernatural strength to run. We have a race to run and God is giving us supernatural strength to do it because the appointed time is nigh. We don't even look like we are able to run; but run we will...When we declare, He will back it up; when we release on earth, He will release in heaven; when we pray, He will hear and send the answer before we rise from our knees. There IS a sound - let him/her that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
